  • 20 fresh large strawberries choose ones with vibrant green tops, dry and firm
  • 300 grams orange-colored white chocolate or white chocolate with orange oil-based food coloring
  • 50 grams additional orange-colored white chocolate for drizzling
  • 1 tablespoon refined coconut oil or vegetable shortening for a smooth chocolate finish
  • crushed chocolate cookies or brownie crumbs to resemble “soil” for presentation

Method
 

  1. Rinse and pat the strawberries dry.
  2. Line a tray with parchment paper.
  3. Melt 300 grams of orange chocolate with coconut oil.
  4. Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate.
  5. Place coated strawberries on the parchment-lined tray.
  6. Let the strawberries set for 10 minutes at room temperature or 5 minutes in the refrigerator.
  7. Melt the remaining 50 grams of orange chocolate.
  8. Drizzle thin lines across each coated strawberry.
  9. Let the drizzle set.
  10. Spread crushed cookies on a platter and arrange strawberries on top.

Notes

Ensure strawberries are completely dry before dipping to help the chocolate adhere properly.
