Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk 2 cups flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla extract; beat until combined.
- Gradually add dry ingredients; mix until just incorporated.
- Add green food coloring to desired shade.
- Drop rounded scoops onto baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are golden.
- Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Add sprinkles or icing. Serve and enjoy!
