Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
- Add green food coloring.
- Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness.
- Cut out cookies with shamrock cutters.
- Place cookies on baking sheets.
- Sprinkle with green sprinkles.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Cool on baking sheets, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
For best results, chill the dough for 30 minutes before rolling out.
