Method
- Prepare buttercream frosting; it needs to be stiff.
- Divide buttercream into small bowls.
- Add food coloring to each bowl and mix.
- Fit piping bag with nozzle and coupler (if using).
- Fill piping bag with colored buttercream.
- Hold bag vertically, nozzle above surface.
- Apply pressure to form a flower shape.
- Stop pressure and lift bag straight up.
- Repeat with different colors and nozzles.
- Chill decorated cake to help buttercream set.

Practice on parchment paper before decorating your final product.
